29 July 2003 The recording is coming along well. Check out our music page for our latest, and IMHO, our best offering so far: "Mystagogue". The show on the 22nd is not going down because the person in charge of the venue didn't show up for our meeting and has not returned our phone calls. oh well. We have added a show on the 16th of Aug with the band Paradigum in Evansville, Indiana.
14 July 2003 What a gig we had at Fran's Skateland. All that I will say is we will never play there again and I would advise any band that cares about their reputation should avoid that place at ALL costs. Get it? Costs. Whew, tough crowd tonight. Anyway, other than the obvious problems, the set was good. Justin performed quite well after only 2 practices. What else would you expect from one of the most bad-ass bassists in S. IL? We are now full speed ahead on the album. I will be taking a break from The Vault Recordings so I can put %100 of my effort into Addicta and making it the best it could possibly be. Darin, our fearless front man, is trying to set up a show in Marion. The target date is Aug 22nd. That is all the info I can give right now, so be on your toes for that one.
06 July 2003 Allot has happened since the last update. First, we would like to welcome a new addition to the band, Justin Webb, former bassist of Adrift. The decision of adding a new bass player was a no-brainer because Darin wanted to concentrate more on his vocals and stage presence and being that Justin is probably the best bass player on the local scene he could take our music up a couple of notches. The Metal Clinic show has been cancelled. This sucks because I was really looking forward to playing that show. Our show at Fran's Skateland went off rather well despite the fact that the power went out on us twice during our set. Frayl and Adrift ripped it up per usual. We also met two new bands Cellefane and Lack Halo. The recording is still a work in progress and as soon as Justin gets a feel for our songs we will be retracking the basslines. As far as gigs go we have two lined up as of now. The first is at Fran's Skateland on the 12th of July. The second is at Boo Jr's on the 23rd of August. Check our shows page for details. 02 June 2003 Our first gig at Boo Jr.'s went off without a hitch. I think we all surprised ourselves at how well we did our first time out. If you missed us on the 31st you will have another chance to see us at Fran's Skateland in Vandellia and the Metal Clinic 2003 at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds on the 12th of July. See the shows link for more information. In other news we are starting work on our full length album. We are going to take our time and make this perfect, so we will keep you posted as it progresses. 14 May 2003 We recorded 3 songs on Tuesday and I have posted a copy of "Vigilante" on our music page so check that out. The others will be posted as soon as they are finished.
