Addicta is a three piece melodic hardcore rock band from Marion, Illinois. Its influences are broad and cover many genres from the ubiquitous tool to the technically genius Rush. Darin Griffin (vocals/bass), Derek Henson (guitar) and Mark Anderson (drums) came together when all three had been on a search for musicians with the same dedication, talent and love for music that each member possessed. Once formed, they set out to create music that would bring something new to the local music scene and be enjoyed by both band and audience.
